When we achieve personal fulfillment, we usually feel successful in whatever venture or path we are on. Success is not defined by the money you make or what you do, but it is defined by our interest in life and relationships, self-development, and self exploration. Successful people are curious and passionate.
Choosing to be pro-active (observing optimism, and potential for life) successful people grow from challenges, making a commitment towards themselves. It is a positive mindset, where they go out and make things happen.
Do you know who you are? Do you know what your values are and do you feel a sense of purpose in your life? Do you follow your dreams, despite other’s opinions?
When we have a true sense of self, the more we will be able to achieve what we want. Clarity about yourself helps you to realize priorities. Having a sense of direction comes from knowing yourself.
Understanding the benefits of following through on simple tasks and goals that will get you to the end result is important also. When you keep the vision in mind, follow through becomes easy. Having a sense of urgency helps to create inspiration. Urgency helps us to make decisions efficiently and increases our motivation. Resiliency will help us through difficult times. When we know who we are, have optimism and resilience, we can adapt to deal with obstacles in our path. We don’t have to view a challenge as the end of the road, but yet cultivate our strengths, characteristics such as patience, awareness and fortitude to move forward, even changing the path.
Finally, a sense of being connected (engagement) can help to foster positive emotion, have a positive impact on your goals, and create a positive sense of community and support.
